First Kia EV On A Dedicated EV Platform - Charlotte EV6

The new Kia EV6 is the first model by the carmaker to be built exclusively as a battery electric vehicle (BEV). It is built on Kia Motor’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), which will also underpin a number of future Kia electric vehicles at Dutch Miller Kia of Charlotte. 

Kia EV6 near Charlotte NC has been designed on the brand’s new ‘Opposites Unite” design philosophy. At the front, the vehicle features the new 2021 Kia designed logo, along with angular aggressive headlights. The Daytime Running Lights have a breathtaking design, which the company calls ‘the Digital Tiger Face’. The at Dutch Miller Kia of Charlotte features a coupe-style rear section, with a roof-mounted spoiler and a concave-shaped tail section. The LED taillights sweep side-to-side over the tailgate, in a curved fashion. The overall design is extremely sharp and beautiful, as well as aerodynamic. We’re excited to have EV6 on Charlotte Gastonia roads in the near future. 

The interior of the Kia EV6 is just as beautiful as the exterior, and offers plenty of additional interior room. The highlight of the cabin is the dual-screen touch setup, consisting of a fully-digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system, with the latter featuring a curved display. Other interior features include a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, sleek AC vents designed especially for the Kia EV6 in Charlotte at Dutch Miller Kia of Charlotte, touch controls for HVAC, and a rotary gear knob. Also, the electric EV6 will utilize recycled plastics for the upholstery fabric, which is a smart step towards reducing the vehicle’s overall carbon footprint.
