ALL-NEW 2023 Sportage
Ready for anything.

Coming to Charlotte in Spring 2022

Kia's compact SUV is getting a complete overhaul. The exterior design of the fifth-generation Kia Sportage makes it almost entirely unrecognizable from its predecessor. A massive touchscreen gives the interior a much more modern look. That tech along with other updates should help the 2023 Kia Sportage better compete in a segment that's largely left the last-gen model behind. We look forward to sharing more information about the 2023 Sportage at Dutch Miller Kia of Charlotte in the coming months.

Once you get a look inside the Sportage, your eyes will immediately be drawn to the gorgeous curved 12.3-inch touchscreen display. The added asymmetrical center console makes sure to place buttons and controls within reach and easy for the driver to get to. The new touchpad also toggles between the audio systems as well as climate control. The staff at Dutch Miller Kia of Charlotte is especially excited about the new technology features for Charlotte area customers.

The biggest change that owners of previous Kia Sportage passengers will notice right away is the three extra inches of rear legroom. This component makes the 2023 Kia Sportage much more adult-friendly and supports larger people much more comfortably. The cargo room behind the rear seat has also expanded to 39.6 cubic feet which is 28% more than the previous Kia.

Blind-Spot Monitor

This available feature projects a live feed of your blind spots onto your instrument cluster when you trigger your turn signal.  When paired with optional Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, the system can help avoid potential collisions by guiding the vehicle in its current lane.

Under The Hood

1.6-liter four with a single electric motor that generates a combined 226 horses. Either powertrain can be paired with front- or all-wheel drive, which is perfect for North Carolina drivers. The Sportage rides on a new platform with a longer wheelbase that's said to help provide better driving dynamics as well as reduce noise and vibration. Which comes in handy for Charlotte area roads. The introduction of rugged-looking trims such as the X-Line gives the SUV an off-road vibe, but the X-Pro actually has some equipment to help tackle the rough stuff. It rides on black 17-inch rims and all-terrain tires, and features a selection of drive modes.
